Time of Sharing
There are events which mark milestones in our lives. These milestones may represent the best or the worst of times. Whether they are happy occasions or painful losses, they serve to mold us into who we are. When a milestone is the passing of a family member or friend, how does one come to understand and cope with the emotions he or she experiences?

Because we understand how profoundly death affects the living, March Alliances offers "A Time of Sharing" a grief support program designed to help you resume a healthy, productive life after a loss. The program offers survivors the support they need to work through the grieving process.

For one night a week during an eight week period, trained professionals, who are members of the Association of Death Education and Counseling, facilitate small group discussions with individuals who have recently suffered a loss. Group members can share their feelings about death, talk through perceptions and learn how to help themselves and others. The meetings are held in conveniently located sites within the community and are free of charge.

"A Time of Sharing " also trains community members who work with grieving individuals; the workshops educate and train empathetic individuals about the grieving process and methods of consoling those in need. Since its inception in 1982, "A Time of Sharing " has built a superior reputation with hospitals, churches, city and state agencies, and civic organizations.
